√ The 2010 "Rhinebeck Car Show and Swap Meet" On the first full weekend in May, the HRVAAA promotes one of the largest antique car shows in the region. In 2000 there were about 400 Rods and Customs on the show field on Saturday and almost 1,000 antique and classic cars on Sunday. Over 1,000 vendor spaces were sold, and about 400 cars were in the car corral last year. Over 30,000 people, from all over the Northeast, usually attend this two-day event. Red Hook Car Club members volunteer hundreds of hours each year in support of this show.

√ The 2010 "Mystery Tour and Annual Picnic" The Club's annual picnic is usually held at Wilcox Park in Milan, New York, on the last Sunday in July. Each year a club member and spouse have the privilege of organizing the annual mystery tour. The objective of the tour is to answer difficult questions about sights along a diabolical route that ends up at the picnic (usually).

√ The 2010 "Bennington Tour and Banquet" Each September the Club makes the 100-mile trek to the Bennington Car Show. Most members stay at the New Englander Motel, which has a nice courtyard where club members congregate after a hard day of flea marketing or shopping up in Manchester. On Saturday night we have a banquet at the Mt. Anthony Golf Club where the food is terrific and the club president usually organizes some weird activity to annoy the members. Club members are urged to come to the banquet dressed in clothing that matches their cars.
The Club members in this photo took a step back in time, as they dressed in costume, for the Bennington Banquet.

√ The 2010 Annual "Holiday Party" The annual Holiday Party wraps up the year's activities each December. It is a catered affair at which members and their families get together with their Club friends to celebrate the holidays. At the party, the member who best exhibited the good things about the hobby in the past year is honored with the "Carlton Fitchett Award".
