Although the Red Hook Car Club Club incorporated in 1970 it had already existed, less formally, for several years. The Red Hook Car Club is one of six member clubs of the "Hudson River Valley Antique Automobile Association, Inc." our affiliation with the HRVAAA began when it sponsored the first "Rhinebeck Car Show and Swap Meet" in 1971 . Ours is a regional club with no national affiliation. In 1987 the club teamed up with the Mills Mansion State Historic Site to sponsor the "Gathering of Old Cars." The Gathering has since become an annual event, held in mid-October, at the Mills Mansion Site in Staatsburg New York. Mills Mansion, is now known and referred to as the "Staatsburgh State Historic Site" . You can click on the picture below, and jump to the Statsburgh website!
